Help show our appreciation by helping to provide monthly treats for our faculty and staff. Donating food and supplies. Monthly treats is once a month, all year long event.

Canyon Boo

Canyon BOO is a community wide event, where we invite all families & friends to come and trick or treat on our campus. Canyon BOO committee members/volunteers work together to transform our campus into a Halloween Festival.
Fall Book Fair

Scholastic Book Fairs empower our kids to find the stories that speak to them. Volunteering for this event has opportunities for set up, clean up & a wide variety of shifts during the actual fair.
Winter Dance

Our Valentine’s Dance is an all-family event. Students bring their family as their dates! We will have pizza, drinks, dessert, DJ, dancing and a photo booth!

Milers Club

Do you have a passion for running, good health & fitness? Would you like to share that passion with our students? Milers Club meets every Mon during lunch recess 11:20am-12:45pm, October-March/April (depending on the heat). Volunteers help track students' laps, cheer them on, and help keep them hydrated.

Canyon Boo-Silent Auction
August through October

Help the committee chairs solicit donations & sponsors from businesses. Volunteering for this event opportunities could be helping with emailing, door to door, phone call solicitation &/or collection (driving to local businesses) of items being donated. This event requires on and off help throughout August - October. No exact dates, just help when you can. We would truly appreciate any little bit of help you can offer! This is a very important fundraiser for Canyon View, and we will need a lot of help.

Canyon Boo-Class Baskets
August through October

Each class is expected to supply a gift basket to put up for auction. Volunteering for this event, you will be in charge of picking a theme & working with your fellow class parents on collecting items for your basket. The committee chairs will send out a “Themes” Sign Up Genius so we do not have repeated themed baskets. You will receive more detailed information from the committee chairs closer to the event. All items will need to be on campus no later than October
4th. You will need to send out communication 2 weeks prior.
Spring Carnival- Activities & Set-Up

School wide friends and family event/fundraiser. Our Spring Carnival event includes games, entertainment, food and prizes. We transform our big field into Carnival Games Central! It is only $5 to attend, for unlimited game play! Volunteering for this event you will have opportunities to help setup, cleanup or help work a shift at the 5th grade booth. This is a very important fundraiser for Canyon View, and we will need a lot of help.
Love Of Reading Week
March 10th- through March 15th

Help create, decorate & cleanup the campus for
Love of Reading week.

STEAM CLUB
Offered on Long Mondays in Indvidual Classrooms

Come help support the students while the work with Ms. Wiley on monthly STEAM activities during lunch recess. Help support by providing the supplies items needed.
